How Can We Stop Bullying?
PAWS FOR KINDNESS--STICK A PAW IN IT!
PAWS is: "Pause before you Act Without Speaking." Paws teaches children to put a paw over their mouth before just blurting something out that may hurt someone else. Yet, when someone needs help, use those PAWS to ACT quickly and do something to help, don't sit by and allow bullying or abuse to keep happening.
An Anti-Bullying Program that's FUN, EDUCATIONAL, & REAL!
GREAT EDUCATION and ENTERTAINMENT FOR KIDS
Children will learn these several excellent principles (listed above) while interacting with one another during this motivating presenation that is fun and upbeat for entire families Using some of her furry friends, Lisa engages her audience as she educates using brief stories, great school games, some Q & A time, ending with the finale as the dogs take center stage for a trick presenation.
Children stay engaged the entire time, eager to participate, while learning important life lessons about creating positive friendships, stranger danger, and how to get help and stay safe. She explains that all abuse/bullying must be reported. That reporting isn't tattling.
"When you "tattle" you do it to get someone into trouble, whereas when you "tell" it's to get someone out of trouble." -Lisa F.
WHAT OTHERS SAY:
"Lisa brings a wealth of GREAT information, fun, and creativity to her workshops. Using the dogs to display forms of abuse and bullying is a wonderful way to teach children."
~J. Dvorak, 4th Grade Teacher @ New Lothrop Elementary
"I loved how Lisa interacted with the children at their level, teaching them valuable life lessons like how to stop bullying while still having fun. "
"Programs like Lisa's to educate childen, teens, and adults on bullying and abuse is so desperately needed in the public schools and communities today. Through her Abuse Bites program she raises awareness, promotes health, and brings positive self-esteem to people of all ages. This program also works to bridge the gap in racism, prejudice and bring all kinds of diverse groups together as a whole, in unity, and stop all forms of bullying at the root."
